Demeter is a standards certifying biodynamic production and processing, established by the Biodynamic Federation Demeter International, the largest certification organization for biodynamic agriculture. The Demeter Biodynamic certification is used in over 65 countries to verify that biodynamic products meet international standards in production and processing. It has higher standards than organic agriculture, since biodynamic agriculture looks at the bigger picture and tries to put back to the ecosystem more than it extracts.
