EBDA Communications
The Communication Team supported EBDA’s media and digital presence through a range of content production and documentation activities.
Key achievements include:
- The team conducted multiple videography and video editing tasks to support EBDA’s ongoing media and content production needs.
- Four videos were edited, finalized, and published on EBDA’s YouTube channel, with attention to visual quality, pacing, and overall presentation.
- In collaboration with the TikTok content team, shooting and editing activities were carried out to produce short-form videos designed to enhance social media engagement.
- The team participated in the inspection visit in Monofia, providing on-site video and photographic coverage to document the process.
- Post-production work was completed following the field visit to prepare the collected materials for official documentation and media use. EBDA achievements
- Fairtrade activity: Work is underway to prepare the orange farms. Additionally, drying units have been established in five farms, and this is considered part of the activities being implemented until the next inspection in the second half of January.
EoL achievements
EBDA Welcomed Interns from the Business Faculty, Heliopolis University for a Two-Week Internship
This month, we hosted 4 interns from the Business Faculty at Heliopolis University for a two-week internship at EBDA. The interns specifically chose EBDA because of their interest in our True Cost approach and how it could contribute to their academic studies.
During their internship, we onboarded them across all departments of EBDA, starting with Economy of Love. They were assigned specific tasks, and the outcomes of these tasks included:
- Design and Communication: They learned how to use Canva to create flyers and brochures for the Economy of Love Impactrace page.

Business and True Cost Management: They gained insights into how a business operates, how we manage true cost, and how we make it visible.
Video Production and Engagement: They produced a video in which they interviewed students about their understanding of the Economy of Love and True Cost.
Through this experience, the interns developed practical skills while contributing meaningfully to EBDA’s ongoing projects

Space of Culture in Minya
As part of the ongoing Economy of Love activites that aims to promote sustainable development and holistic community wellbeing, a cultural development event was held in Minya on thurssday 25/12/2025. The initiative was spearheaded by the Art Team and specifically designed to engage EBDA farmers and their families through a creative and community-centered experience.
Admin Team Progress
- Do-pay/NBE Updates:-
8614 health cards have been issued by Eco-health under coordination with the EBDA admin team and Eco-health team.
5152 health cards will be issued soon; they are still being printed.
The data of the farmer who received the health card will be uploaded to the ُERP system
Regarding the development of the distribution plan for Meeza cards:
Cards will be issued nameless ,To facilitate the distribution and receipt of cards to farmers.
With the help of our engineers to provide us with the necessary information, we contact the Do-Pay team to ensure the availability of a site within each governorate to facilitate distribution to farmers.
1260 farmers Batch were sent to them from Minya Governorate to test the distribution plan.
- NBE Updates:-
Three new cards have been distributed, bringing the total number of successfully distributed cards to 1403. Follow-up is conducted with farmers who have received Meeza cards from the National Bank of Egypt in case any problems arise.
The EBDA New Agriculture Cosmic Agenda 2026
The EBDA team has been successfully working on the new cosmic Calendar that will be ready to be distributed to all our farmers for the year 2026. The Cosmic Agenda is mainly designed to support farmers during their farming seasons. Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) Progress
- During December, PGS inspections were conducted in all governorates around Egypt. Random and unforeseen inspections were done by the PGS team on PGS audits in several governorates including Beni Suef, Menoufia, Sharkia, and Fayoum to verify the accuracy and proper implementation of the auditing process and the results of the last training to the peer reviewers. In parallel, the PGS checklist was updated to improve clarity and accuracy and facilitate the auditing process. Based on the outcomes of these activities, planning has started for the next audit round.
- PGS proposals and concept notes are being developed to be disseminated among possible funding entities to support the implementation of the PGS in the upcoming years as the expansion of the member farmers in EBDA is extremely increasing everyday.
- As part of the preparation for applying to the IFOAM Family of Standards, the Economy of Love criteria is currently being updated by Eng. Buthaina to ensure better alignment with the IFOAM principles and requirements.

EBDA Farmers Growth
As part of the upscaling project of the EBDA to reach 40,000 farmers by the end of 2025
EBDA extension engineers successfully registered 367 new farms in December that included 2,119 farmers with a total area of 5,300 feddan. Additionally, two farms have been registered: Al-Yasmin Farm, an area of 20 acres, located in the New Valley Governorate – Dakhla City – Mut Center and The 60-acre Ghrass Farm is located in the New Valley Governorate – Dakhla – Mut Center and contains a water well and an electricity source. Farms have a water well and a solar power station installed.
